Overview
This tour is designed for travelers who want to spend 2 days – 1 night in Sapa with the following goals in mind: saving time, visiting the most popular tourist attractions in Sapa, spending the night in a good hotel to be comfortable, and paying a lower cost than taking the night train. In particular, you can enjoy the welcoming services offered by Viet Adventures.
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa by bus with a short trek to Cat Cat village (L/D)
Pass By: Cat Cat village, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
6.00-6:20: Pick up at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, get on a big bus and depart for Sapa Town.
9.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city and have the first rest stop.
11.00: Second rest stop in Lao Cai before heading to Sapa
13.30: Arrive at Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. And wait at the bus station for the tour guide and driver to pick you up to the hotel.

- Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes and check-in procedures.
14.30: A short walk to the gate of Cat Cat village, which is the home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photos with the bridge and waterfall; then you will walk up hill for the bus to pick you up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
The trekking distance is about 2.5km and it lasts for 2 hours.
Cat Cat Village
17.00: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight in a hotel with night activities.
Meals included: Lunch and Dinner
Day 2: Sapa – Hanoi by bus with a long trek Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L)
Pass By: Ta Van Village, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
7.00 – 8.30: Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the room, and prepare a light pack for trekking. (Large luggage is kept in the hotel.)
8.30: Start hiking through Y Linh Ho, then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. After that, head to Ta Van village – home of the Dzay ethnic people.
The trekking distance is about 9km and it lasts for 3.5 hours
12.30 – 13.30: Have lunch at local restaurant.
13.30: The bus arrives at Ta Van Bridge and transports you to Sapa.
14.00 – 14.45: Relax and enjoy yourself, and if you want, take a shower in the hotel’s public bathroom.
14.45 – 15.00: Meet all the group members at the hotel to get ready for Hanoi.
16.30: Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two rest stops.
21.30-21.45: Arrive Hanoi, and go back to your hotel by yourself.
Trip ends.

Note
- On day 2, if you do not want to attend the long trek Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van, our tour leader will help you visit another place. All tickets and transportation fees are paid by you.
- Old people should not attend the long trek (9 km) due to its challenge and danger in case of rain
- Handicapped people and children under 3 years old should not attend trekking.
THING TO BRING
- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.

- 4 years old: free when sharing the services with parents
- 5- 8 Years old: 75% charged
- Above 8 years old: 100% charged as adult.

- Before 24 hours of departure: free
- Within 24 hours: 100% charged
